Description
Influenced by the Italian Renaissance movement and the Florentine artists that came to work for the Spanish Crown. Plateresque style developed itself as a genuine independent Spanish style through the 15th to 16th centuries. This 16th century plateresque style chalice is made in solid 925 sterling silver and 24 kt gold lined. Superbly finished with fine engraved designs and fire enameled cabochons applied on the cup, node and base. Includes a matching scale paten with ring. Handcrafted in Spain. A richly lined case is available for the chalice.
