Influenced by the Italian Renaissance movement and the Florentine artists that came to work for the Spanish Crown. The Plateresque style developed itself as a genuine independent Spanish style through the 15th to 16th centuries. This 16th century plateresque style ciborium is made in solid 925 sterling silver and 24 kt gold lined. Superbly finished with fine engraved designs and fire enameled cabochons applied on the cup, node and base. Handcrafted in Spain. A richly lined carrying case is available for most items, contact us.
